A free program that scans your hard drive looking for icons not seen at first glance.

IconS (whose name comes from IconSearch) is a simple application that works to find hidden icons in runnables (.exe) and libraries (.dll) and other file types, in which you can't find any icons at first glance.

IconS lets you scan whole directories, thanks to its interface in the style of Windows explorer, and view all the icons found. Then you can save them in ICO, BMP,GIF or JPEG formats. IconS makes searches quickly, and supports the exploration of files in .ico, .dll, .exe, .icl, .cpl, .nil and .il formats.
